About Elizabeth
I remember when Facebook first came out, you know when only college students were allowed to join? I was a freshman at the University of Puget Sound and absolutely refused to be a part of the 'mass conspiracy' until I was a senior and about to graduate with honors in Biology in 2007. Who knew then that Facebook and Twitter would become the powerful marketing tools that they are today.
After trying my hand as a lab research assistant at the Cancer Research Institute of Nevada, and failing miserably to execute lab protocols, I decided to dedicate my career to what I really enjoyed: exploring the world, meeting with new people (not new fruit flies) and writing about what I learned along the way.
Subsequently, I focused my career on building experience as a journalist and public relations liaison in Los Angeles and the Middle East, and eventually returned to my hometown of Longmont, Colorado. I then interned as a social media manager with a National Geographic top 50 adventure travel company, Adventures Within Reach for nearly a year before striking out on my own in 2010. I've since developed Internet marketing strategies and web content for the Sun Rose Cafe, Longmont Mayor Dennis Coombs and Colorado State Representative Jonathan Singer's election campaigns, domestic and international marketing agencies, such as KMGi and other mid-sized enterprises.
I love what I do, and I love learning about companies like yours. One of the best aspects of my job is being able to help my clients envision who their ideal customers are, and create unique ways of educating that target audience about my client's products or services. As a communications representative, I get to connect with individuals from around the globe on a daily basis, sharing in the art of business. Developing relationships is what it's all about.
